- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Terrible experience with this place. Used comps from older models - didn't take upgrades into consideration & took FOREVER. We were late closing & had to scramble because nobody could get any answers. The twin home right next to us had zero appraisal issues & came in at what the seller wanted (they used a different appraisal company from what I heard). Ours did not come in at what we were hoping. Our seller, realtor & loan officer had the biggest headache with this place & both our realtor/seller ate some of the costs, but we still had to put way more down than expected. I can live with a low appraisal. The bank fought to dispute it. The appraiser flat out said NO, they weren't changing it. The seller stepped in and asked the appraiser to look again and he ok, we will work with you. Our seller sent more information over the time frame of 3 months. We really thought they were going to up the appraisal. Everyone sat and waited because we were hopeful they were working with us. I mean, how could this place NOT change it after 3 months? It was a good sign they were wanting more info from everyone about the house (or so we thought). Why would it take them 3 months of gathering more info to not do anything? It was one week to close, they didn't say or do anything. For 3 months they didn't even have the courtesy to tell us again they weren't changing it. They literally ignored everything & since we didn't get a response, we had to stick with that low appraisal. All that time wasted. We had to rush and re-submit all the information before because it was now deemed "expired." Our loan was also a FHA loan, so we couldn't get a second appraisal & getting paperwork is a PAIN IN THE ASS for these types of loans. This place caused our first time home-buying experience to become an absolute nightmare. Everyone who was helping us get the house said they had NEVER seen an appraisal place do this before. It was a first for all parties involved. Banks, don't get into a contract with this place & homebuyers - save yourself lots of headache & get a different appraiser if you can!By Mrs. Jenkins, January 01, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Rude, Quick, didn't ask any questions on builder, cabinets etc.. five minute appraisal for $510.00 dollars. said our home was worth 6,600 less then city was taxing us at at 17,000.00 less from three year ago appraisal. Will not respond to my emails.I provided better comps then he found. Very disappointed with no remedy!By David Boelke, November 14, 2016
