  BEWARE! First off I got a crappy divorce. I divorced an abusive husband. My attorney advised me some to DROP THE ORDER OF PROTECTION. He told me that he was sure that my X-husband would calm down after the divorce and that we could use this as a bargaining tool. I TOLD him I didn't think my X would change. He again advised me that he would. This allowed my X to continue to harass me, and abuse me through the courts and by using our children. I spent a ton of time in the court on my own and with another attorney straightening this cluster out. He also advised me to let my X base his tax deductions on what I was getting back. This meant I had to show my damn X my tax papers every year have TWO of them prepared and have it done before March. He then would get to decide whether or not he was going to claim both kids. He of course as an abuser would claim them both and then refuse to send me my part of my own damn income tax. Most of which was earned income credit. This means of course I wasn't earning very much. However, there sat my X taking home 72,000 a year and then taking my money as well. It took literally 5 years and another attorney to straighten this mess out. Now I have to pay him too. What Brothers didn't tell me was that the interest rate on this divorce was 18%. I started out by giving him $3,000. I now owe him $18000. Basically he is robbing more than my X. These guys don't have a heart. They are out to line their pockets and abuse you worse than the marriage you are in. Go ANYWHERE else.
